Himesh Reshammiya is the son of Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya and his wife, Madhu. Himesh lost his elder brother at the age of 11,[3] and decided to take up music as his career after the incident, to fulfill his father’s wishes. He did his schooling at Hill Grange School in Peddar Road area, Mumbai. Himesh started his career with a production house which aired quite a few TV soaps on Doordarshan Ahmedabad and Zee TV at the age of mere 16.
Himesh Reshammiya avoided speaking about his personal life in media until July 2007, when in the talk show “Koffee with Karan“, he revealed that he is married to Komal, and they have a 10 year old son named Swayam.[4]
In October 2006, Reshammiya became the first Indian to perform at the Wembley Stadium in London.[5]

Himesh Reshammiya scored the music and made his acting debut in Aap Ka Suroor – The Real Love Story, which released on June 29, 2007 and had an 80% box office opening. The film proved to be a semi hit. Now Himesh Reshammiya is coming with his new movie Karzzzz which is remake to a superhit movie Karz (1980 film). Himesh Reshammiya is going to act with bollywood’s item girl Urmila Matondkar. The movie will release in October 2008.

The glaring trLITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT HIMESH :Himesh Reshammiya was only 11 years old when his elder brother expired and was completly shattered. That was the only time the little boy promised his father thet he would make up for his lost son.He used to walk all thw way from Haj Ali to Dadar in order to save eight rupees and but choclates from the remaining two rupees of then ten rupees he got from his father.
It shows how determined and calculative he has been since childhood and this attitude is clearly evident today.
WHY THE INDUSTRY HATES HIMESH :Mouli Dave, one of the contestant’s on the SA RE GA MA PA gave an unbelivably disastrous performance in the Rajesh Roshan and Khayyane special episode.She was on the verge of being eliminated, but Himesh intervened just to prove a point to he other judges on weather a contestant should be eliminated on the basis of just one bad performance?Then he asked Mouli to sing Maiyya Maiyya again.
The industry hates him, but he’s a survivor. His mantra, don’t give a damn about critics. And it’s worked. Adlabs had supposedly bought his Aap Ka Suroor for a whooping Rs 22 crores!
Himesh says tha he dont have an attitude problem;people have spread this wrong news. He know where he is;He know what he is. He have taken a huge risk but what’s life without risks?
